Eight panels. The Enterprise-D over Earth beside a swirling anomaly: "Captain's log. Stardate -- I have no idea. We just went through some ultimately irregular time/space anomaly where no stardates make sense." Picard: "We know at least we are in the solar system, watching strange developments on Earth but what date is it? Computer, just log the damn thing." Data feeds his cat Spot. "We are in a position over earth but we appear to be in a different time." "There are life-forms in a ship orbiting the Earth and one strangely moving ... atop a rocket?" On the viewscreen, Major Kong rides his bomb. Picard: "Mr. Worf, shields up! Red alert!" Troi: "Captain. It's all good. I sense Spot telling us it's settled. We should be out of here shortly." Picard: "Mr. Data... Set no course. This is highly amusing."
